Purpose of the Job

To evaluate the demands of the business owners, transforms the essence into an abstract and algorithmic business model and as such identifies the use cases and transforms them into logical and technical views and are able to configure the system. This is an IT role, not a business role. There is a separate team who looks after user queries, reporting issues, training, etc.

Job Objectives
  • To oversee and/or develop logic scripts and business rule changes.
  • To manage the BPC application, troubleshoot errors, housekeeping, and performance monitoring.
  • To work with Basis team regarding system maintenance.
  • Customizing the respective business area and making sure the system reacts in the manner according to the constraints of the request.
  • Prepare test scripts for testing the configured scenarios and perform the testing.
  • To oversee and/or develop logic scripts and business rules as requested by business in accordance with the Shoprite Standards
  • To manage the BPC application, troubleshoot errors, housekeeping, and performance monitoring

Qualifications
  • 5+ years of SAP BW experience (Infocubes, Transformations, DTPs, Process Chains) (Essential)
  • 5+ years of Completion of 3 BPC implementations/reimplementations, preferably moving from BPC Standard to Embedded (Essential)
  • 5+ years of Thorough understanding of BPC Embedded (ADSOs, planning functions, aggregation layers, queries) (Desirable)

Experience
  • 5+ years of Creating and changing Functional specifications (Essential)
  • 5+ years of Creating and testing logic scripts from scratch (Essential)
  • 5+ years of Integration of BPC and Non SAP systems (Essential)
  • 1+ years of SDLC processes (support, defect resolution and after hours support) (Desirable)
  • 1+ years of Business facing consultation (Desirable)

Knowledge and Skills
  • 1+ years of Knowledge of the Retail industry (Desirable)
  • 1+ years of ITIL Knowledge (Desirable)
  • 1+ years of IMG Configuration (Essential)
  • 1+ years of Solution Manager (CHARM) (Essential)
  • 3+ years of SE38 programs for administering BPC (UJKT, Cache refresh, UJBR, etc.) (Essential)
  • 3+ years of Designing and building reports and input schedules in EPM for Office (Essential)
  • Analysis for Office (Desirable)
  • 1+ years of Project Management (Desirable)
  • 1+ years of MS Office 365 skills
  • 1+ years using Jira
  • 1+ years Working in Agile and particularly SAFe
